I love to see the Temple

I am so excited about the changes we are making in our lives at the moment!  We started going to church regularly a few months ago and that in itself has been wonderful, I love how I can feel the spirit so strong within my home as a result of attending church and trying to live the gospel everyday and striving to be better parents, spouses and teachers.  I am so thankful that I have the opportunity to stand by a great man (who has supported me in my desision to go to church) but what I am most thankful for is his guidence that has lead us to strive to be temple worthy!
I have been reading a blog of a couple from Declo that recently lost thier daughter in a drowning and Krissy's (the mother's) testimony of the gospel and eternal families had got me thinking about my own family, and how I would cope with loosing one of them.  I have no ties to them (as of now) there is nothing that binds us for time and eternity!  Krissy has the fact that her family can be together agian and will be forever, and she will hold her daughter again and continue to raise her one day.  This blog and the Darrington family's story is what lead me back to church, I want that!
I want what I  know can be mine forever, although I never told my husband why  I was going back to church at the time all I said was "The kids and I are going to church on sunday if you want to go that would be good if not, its ok" and to my suprise he said "well, I want to go with you!" and about a month later my husband was talking about going to the temple?  At this point I had told him about Krissy's blog and her testimony of eternal families, but never thought he would be the one to initiate the idea of going to the temple ourselves, although it has been my goal since deciding to go back to church.
Heavenly Father works miracles even on the wildest of his children! (Us!) As we take our journey day by day I know that in the very near future we will be blessed to have our family together for all eternity by being sealed in the temple!

Koltyn's Krazy!

I have  been slacking on the the blogging lately si before I forget I just wanted to update on Koltyn's crazyiness!  He is the cutest little guy I know.  It was time for bed the other night and Koltyn loves waving goodnight to everyone then hopping up in my arms so I can take him to his bed... well this particular night I told him to tell everyone good night, and he waves his cute little wave and hauls off in a dead run for, what I thought was the stairs, NO he runs strait for MY bed!  It takes all his strength to climb on to that bed where he proceeds to lay on his Daddy's pillow, pulls the covers over up to his chin and waves to Daddy, as if to say goodnight dad... find somewhere else to sleep!  He is such a cutie pie!
And Thursday of last week we cut poor little Koltyn's curls off :( this is so sad for me because it means my little baby boy is getting big!  I hate his hair cut, it looks so cute and manly and I just want my little baby look back so he can be my baby forever!  His attitude hasn't changed with the new do so that's good!
