Cauldron Lynn

Yesterday was so much fun. We went to Cauldron Lynn and had a picnic/photo shoot with Christy Seymour Grumbien and her Daughter Ana, they are friends of the family and Ana and Abagial are the best of friends "sisters" as they like to put it, as well as cousins Paris, Destiny, and Baylee Jimenez.  It was a blast with just us girls (plus Koltyn) and the wide open spaces for exploration!  We ate our lunch being so careful not to get our cute outfits dirty and drank our juice "like princesses" so as not to have koolaid mustaches, then it was off to the photo shoot!

We took lots of pictures by the water falls and Christy brought 2 "play" cameras for you girls to take your own pictures of your day.  We saw 2 different kinds of lizard's, one was a black bigger lizard and the other was a fast skinny lizard with a blue tail.  They were pretty cool and creepy all at the same time and they were everywhere, although we couldn't get a picture of the blue tailed one because he was just too quick!

We took so many pictures that I can't post them all but they tell the story of the day a little better than I can so here are some of our adventure.
As we were getting ready to pack up our picnic stuff and head to another place to get more photos of Paris, Destiny spotted a creepy little creature slithering from beneath the truck.  Oh yes ladies and gentleman it was a SNAKE!

Mom is petrafide of snakes and obviously so was everyone else because little legs started moving quickly over to me!  Everyone was over to me in a flash except little Adyson who was completely oblivious to all the sceaming that was going on!  As I screamed at her to run over to me she ran right over the snake almost stomping on its head.  Just as she stepped down the snake coiled back and Adyson kept running over to me realizing, just as she passed the snake, what everyone was sreaming about!  That little girl jumped into my arms so quick and wrapped her arms around my neck, as if she was never letting me go again!  It was funny and scary all at the same time!  After the snake got away from the truck and half way accross the road all the little feet left my side and jumpped into the back of that truck just as quick as their little arms would pull them up there,

as they watched the snake slither off into the grass and disappear.  All except abagail that is she did jump in the truck then shortly after that she jumped right back out and stood right behind that snake.  I screamed "ABBY WHAT ARE YOU DOING" and she says "what Mom I want to follow it"  The little stinker!   I almost had a heart attack as I told her to jump back in that truck before that snake had her for supper!  Aunika was so funny because she screamed the loudest but was really interested in why the snake looked weat but IF touched it would not feel wet.  Aunika you have brought home books from the library that were all about snakes and you are interested in all things creepy as long as you don't have to touch it!  lol

After all the excitement we did take some more pictures of Paris then came home and looked at our works and said they were good!  Then we cooked some steaks on the barbi and sat there and talked about what a great day we all had and how much we owed Koltyn for taking him on a girly trip,  I think he had lots of fun playing in the puddles of water on the rocks!

The BIG Party

Well we went into town to get the ingredients for an awsome party including a swimming pool, water guns, a slip and slide and water balloons on Friday, one day after Adyson's birthday.  She tells me, "Mom, when we go to town I am going to tell everyone that I am this many!" (with 4 little fingers held high in the air) and sure enough that is just what that little girl did! Anyone that would listen at walmart got told about her birthday party and how old she was.
So we decided to have the big bash on Sunday.  I felt a little bad to do a birthday party on the sabbath day but with Dad's job and everyone elses schedule it is just easier and we get to spend good quality family time.  There were all the things listed above and some awesome kids that came to the party

We always love throwing parties for you guys!  Just to get your friends and cousins together is so great.  Adyson you were just tickled pink with the little fur real doggie you got to match your big dog.  It is white and fluffy and bigger than the other friends you have.  Mom and Dad just cant believe how much you like those dang things!  Here are some pictures of your party that you worked so hard to put together and let me tell you it was PERFECT just like you!
I'd have to say I think your friends and family loved your party as well!  What a blessed day we had and I hope you remember all of these fun memories we made!  Love you Boog!

Adyson Jay is turning 4

My little baby girl turned 4 today!  I still remember her skinny little alien body being placed in her daddy's arms for the first time!  She has always been the stuborn one and still is.  From birth she has slept with mom and dad, or should I say in Dad's ribs and  Mom's back!  Adyson you still wake up in the middle of the night and try to sneek in bed with us to this day!  I remember when you would sneek in and I would wake up just as you were making your way from the bottom of the bed to the top of the bed ever so creepy like!  and I would get you under the covers before Dad could wake up to tell you to get to your own bed!  I did and still love how perfectly you fit in my arms as we cuddle in the morning after Dad slips away to work.
Your favorite things right now are animals you are really into Fur Real Friends. They are cute little stuffed animals that make real animal noises... I think you have about 10 of those things so far (well between you and your sisters) and you play with a different one every day.    These are a few you have and love.

You also love babies you have a baby that your Grandma Sharon got you for Christmas that is suppose to be filled with air but for some reason you love the baby to be a limp noodle and don't want air in him, and you call him Toby!  The other baby you are very fond of is an American Doll baby that Gram and Papa got you for Christmas this last year, It came with a back pack and baby dipers, toys and Cloths that you love to tote around everywhere with you.
Adyson you are so smart!  you can say most of the alphabet singing the ABC song,ABCDEFG...HIJKLMNOP...WXYZ now I know ABC's next time sing with me. You can count to 12, after that you start with numbers I have never heard of like eleventeen? Whatever number that is!   You know lots of colors and shapes... I think you are well on your way to being a great kindergardener in one more year, although I think you could start school in the fall and be one of the smartest kids in the class!
Some of your favorite things to do are node your head and say "um actually, I don't think so" and "duh" you told me today even, because I asked if you could go get me somthing, "what Mom why can't you go and do it do you not know where it is or how to do it, goodness"  you are so silly like that!  and when I gave you the look you said " just kidding Mommy duh"  lol funny girl!  You also told me a while ago "Mom when I'm all growed up... I'm gunna miss you"  and Im holding you to that little girl!  Your daddy is just in love with you and melts every time you look at him with those amber colored eyes and sharp toothed smile of yours.  I think the thing he likes the most about you is your sassiness and how you will tell him what you think no matter how mad he is at the moment, looking at him through the conner of your eyes with your hands on your hips like you mean business too!  He also loves that no matter how many times you have fallen off the horses you still get right back on with no fear and love to ride with him "FASTOR DADDY"  with the biggest smile
on your face!

Your sisters love to make fun of the way you talk, because you slur you 's' sounds together.  I think it is adorable, but Aunika is thinking you are going to need some kind of thearapy if you are going to be in kindergarden in a year... you can't go to school talking like that she says!  lol she is so funny.  You and Abby have a love/hate relationship depending on the day.  Just the other day you kicked her in the face as she was layong on the ground because she kept telling you, your hair looked messy after I had just got done curling it and making it not look so tom boyish (which is normally how your hair looks because you hate to have it done!) and you kept telling her it looked pretty and she said no messy and you said no pretty and so on and so forth and the next thing I know I have your big sister crying to me that you kicked her in the face!  Although I was thinking to myself that if she would have just said your hair looked nice this all could have been prevented I did have to put you on the wall and tell you it is not nice to "kick your BIG sister in the face" what mother of a 3 year old has to tell their daughter that!  lol only you kid, only you!
You are a wild child and spoiled by everyone to boot, because of how stinkin cute you are... Mom and Dad love you with all our hearts and can't wait to see and hear the cute things you have to say and all the interesting things you teach us every single day!  Happy Birthday kiddo will post pics of your birthday party which is on Sunday!  You are so excited, you keep asking if Sunday is tomorrow!

Run down on life as we know it

Today I started this blog as a journal of life events throughout the year.  As my family grows I would like to look back and remember all the good and not so good times we have shared together.  I feel it is important that my children know how much they have meant to me and thier dad throughout the years and what joy they bring to us, even when we as a family make mistakes or have trials to face.
So to get started, I would like to give a run down of life as we know it.  Starting with the oldest to youngest.

First there is Aunika:  She is 8 going on 25, her little nickname is Tootsie and has been for years, she just finished up 2nd grade with flying colors and is excited to start school next year.  What to say about this little wild child!  She is amazing,  she is blessed with so much talent.  She can sing and dance and is so book smart, she particularly likes to read.  Aunika has the most beautiful sandy brown long hair and sea green eyes you will ever.  She did inheret a few things from her mother and father that sometimes I wish she hadn't such as:  her constant need to always have the last word and her loud broadway voice!  We constantly tell her to use an inside voice.  These 2 things have gotten her into a few problems at school lately but I think they will be good traits to take into adulthood!  Her favorite thing to do right now is karaoke on youtube,  she constantly is asking to sing "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus.  She also enjoys riding her bike and 4 wheeler, and playing dance games on the Wii with Mom!

Then there is Abagail she is 5 and we call her Abby.  Abby loves to be popular and often plays "popular girls" with her sisters!  She is so beautiful with her spiral curled hair and her beautiful hazel eyes.  She just finished kindergarden and we are so proud of her.  Abby has always been her father's daughter and loves to just sit on Dad's lap whenever she can.  She also enjoys playing with barbie's and riding her bike.  Abagail is going to be in the rodeo one day (according to her) and wants to practice riding her horse every chance she gets.  Abby has a tender heart and is the shy one of the bunch until you get to know her then she will hang all over you and want you to take her home! I am so proud of the little girl she is turning out to be.  Mom, Dad and big sister have always babied her because she is the most petite little thing, so for awhile she was intmidated by having to do everything herself at school, now she is doing well and growing so fast, pretty soon she may not even need training wheels on her bike!
Our third child is Adyson aka Boog... she is 3 and she is a looney bird who loves her Mommy and loves to just stay home and play make believe.  She once had a Grandma Jane who let her do everything she wanted, like cook at the stove, drive and play outside all by herself!  Grandma Jane had many different dogs and they were all nice to Adyson but mean to everyone else!  Adyson would see her Grandma Jane in cars as we were driving down the road... it got a little creepy after a while but Grandma Jane slowly died off or as Adyson would put it ( her house got on fire and she had to go live in the woods!).  Now she mainly likes o play by herself with all of her puppies and cats (the stuffed kind) and of course her babies.  Boog has the most beautiful amber eyes and sharpest eye teeth smile you will ever see and she has such a personality!  her favorite thing to do right now is move her head side to side and saying "actually" or "I don't think so."   Her best friend is her little brother Koltyn who will laugh at anything that little girl does.  I think the best thing about miss Adyson is that she is able to stand toe to toe with her Daddy and make him just melt with those cute little eyes and big smile or crocadile tears!
Last but not least there is "The Boy" Koltyn Carter aka Buggie, Stud Kolt, bubbaloo and son!  Kolt is 16 months and was definantly worth the wait!  He is the most amazing little boy I have ever seen.  He is learning
sign language at the moment and knows words like: more, mom, dad, juice, milk and eat.  His favorite thing to do as of late is get in the toilet!  if that bathroom door is open you can garentee where he will be!  But when we ruin his fun at the toilet bowl his next best place to be is where ever his sisters are playing so he can ruin thier games and hit them with the first item that becomes available!  But he always says sorry with a great big open mouth kiss, for making the girls cry, and that makes it all better!  He expecially loves his big sister Adyson, who always watches out for him, tells on him when he is doing wrong, and can make him laugh that gut hurting laugh just by walking in the room, they make such a team!  Koltyn loves to ride the horses and play in his little tyke car outside, or drive for reals with Dad along with the many other things him and Dad do together.  Mommy expecially likes when her Buggie cuddles her and gives her a big hug with tender pats on the back and those cute little open mouth booger kisses I always seem to get! But I will take them the way they come and when they come... which now adays is getting fewer and fewer!
